Why this step?

Richness of history and culture
The modern boundaries between India, Pakistan and Afghanistan date from the 20th century. The region that crosses these three countries to the south of the Himalayan range is historically at the center of the civilizations of China, India and the territory of Islam.

Getting science out of its comfort zone?
Scientific knowledge often remains very cloistered in specialist circles: I offer an introduction to the interconnected and colorful cultures of India, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Let's break down this knowledge and dialogue together !

My classes aim to draw attention to this region of the world and chiefly target the general public.

You are a member of a social and / or educational institution, you want an initiation and an exchange on these histories and cultures, my courses will interest you!

See the description (FR) here.

My new project as part of my SNSF research grant: I offer public courses for non-academic audiences on the interconnected histories of Afghanistan, Pakistan and India and on the history of Indian thought.

For more details, see the description (FR).

The courses are also available in French and in visio-conference, if necessary.

Public courses in 2020:
